A glance in the past

I love stories. So I cooked up some description to the horses and April! I post the stories here so you don't have to use your mouse to click the link, but these can also be found in the character page! Here are their stories:

April:

April is a girl born in the village of Jorvik. She moved to Silverglade after her mom, who got a new job from there. After the bridge of Southsilver Waters broke, there hasn't been many young people who would have seen the village or the stables of Jorvik. Many people have asked April about it, what did the center of Jorvik look like, were the stables good, but no one has got an answer from her. Maybe she's still upset about the moving, though she got the dream job from the SG Stables and found her dream horses, Hope, Haz, Lou, Perrie and Dana.

Hope:

About Hope's past, he was used to be a ride for a little girl. Her parents knew a lot about horses, so though Hope was just 6 years old, he was the safest ride there could be for a little child. They got their own little farm just next to the Winery. The farm had been a part of the SG Stables, but they sold it to the family. Later, the family got some money problems and they had to sell the farm. (Nowadays there's an oilfield in that place) The parents knew April through their son, Derek, who works in the SG Village. They assured their daughter that Hope would get the best home possible, and I'm sure they were right.

Haz:

April saved Hazza from Valedale. Some old sweet grandma had bought him, to make her backyard look fancy. The little lady had been a little wrong, maybe a Shetland pony or an old Finnhorse would've been a better choice instead of a thoroughbred stallion! April promised to find her a horse that would be easier to take care, if she could buy Hazza. And the lady agreed.

Perrie:

April had always wanted an Akhal-Tekke. Maybe it was because her step-brother had a huge stud in Finland, where her mom had moved from. So when April heard that they sell Tekkes in the sales stable nearby Silverglade Village, she ran immediately there to buy this beauty. Later, when she was talking with her brother on phone, she got to know that Perrie was from her brother's breeding stables! Perrie wasn't imported straight from him, and the person who sold her to the sales stables hadn't given almost any information about this girl.

April's brother told that Perrie wasn't like that when she was a foal. Maybe something happened to her between her birthplace and Silverglade.

Lou:

Lou was a lesson horse in north Silverglade. It just wasn't for him. Of course only talented riders got him, because he is a stallion after all, but it didn't do good for him. Every day there was a different human on his back, screaming little girls, too many other horses.. So the riding school put an ad on the local paper, and were searching for a person who would take Lou as their private horse, no more different ways of riding. Guess who bought him.

Being put to work too early, Lou's training got a bit challenging. April had to teach the basic things to him again, so it slowed Lou's training.

Dana:

Brevity is the soul of wit, April got Dana from her grandpa! This beautiful girl is a daughter of his amazing stallion, Caius, and the good old father of Anna Skyberg, April's mom, wanted that the fabulous mare would stay somewhere close so he could sometimes see how April is doing with the lady.

Friesian beauty

Today we got the friesian horses! Guess who was running to buy one, with her head as a third leg. Ding ding, correct answer, me!

The horses are so beautiful. I was kind of upset because we didn't get anything else with the update, but these are such a great step for SSO to make more realistic horse that I don't care. I can't even write properly, I'm so happy. Grammar nazis, feel free to correct me.

The horses are big. Like really big. F*cking giants! First when I bought my horse, and went to take it out, I felt like we wouldn't fit out of the stable. And when I changed to Perrie to take the picture somewhere down there, it felt like I was riding a shetland pony! And Perrie's legs were so thin! Gosh.

May I introduce you, Dangergaze!True friesian beauty, fresh from the oven. (Wow that sounded wrong).

Try to say it's name outloud. It sounds so funny! I don't know what I will call it shortly. I don't even know if it is a mare or a stallion. I like stallions more, but I feel like everyone will make their friesians stallion. And I have kind of thought them to be a mare. Yeah, maybe she is a girl. Such a beautiful girl.

Any nickname suggestions? I have thought of "Dani" or longer "Danni" and also "Vaara" that means danger in finnish. I have to keep thinking. I don't really want to name it with a finnish name, it's kind of a thing for Finnhorses.

I love the fact they move their heads and legs when they stand still. I was kind of disappointed when the horses in the sales stables were moving, but when you bought them they didn't move almost at all while standing. These horses are so realistic.

And the fact they hold their heads proudly even when galloping, is amazing.  It looks beautiful. Well, in full gallop it's a bit stupid looking, because April's face crashes into the mane, but in canter and gallop, oh wow.

And the way it moves its legs. Oh god, beautiful!

And the smallest thing: It's ears are straight! I have always hated the way the ears of the horses are so skew.

I spent 25€ to this beauty. F*ck, like I wouldn't have bought enough star coins already. Oh well, it doesn't really matter because my phone bill isn't usually big, because I use mostly whatsapp and facebook chat and I'm not a person who calls long calls. (sounds stupid, calls calls)

Dangergaze fits in to April's "story" pretty good. And by "story" I mean the time when April, the talented rider from Silverglade Stables, is training her champion horses and running on the top of the high scores, not the idiot dirty-minded April who fools on the fences with her clubbies and shouts pervert things to others.

And I just got the fancy banner on my blog and now I have to change it again! Gossssh. Well, no matter what I need to make it wider because I'm tired of this narrow blog, because I need to keep the photos small.   Gonna change it soon, though I have two other blogs with their layouts to edit.

Damn I need to stop talking! I will put Dangergaze on the horse page when I get a nickname for her! Bye!

xoxo. April

Get Lucky

Hiya there! I know, I know, I haven't written in a while. I lost interest in Star Stable, so I logged in everyday just to do the garden quests and to feed my horses, maybe throw a hey to my clubbies. I didn't want them to think I died.

Today we got the weekly update, that was... Well, ok. The gardening stuff starts to get bored, but I think it will be over soon as we already are in the last part of the garden. The new clothes etc. were boring. And I didn't win a poster. (I am kinda mad because I wasted time to think a pretty outfit with different clothes that look good together and then one of the winners was wearing a collection outfit???)

The mane styling thing is great! I have waited it since we got new horses, because I first though we can choose the mane of the horses we buy. And now we can! And it doesn't cost too much, I first though it would cost somewhat 100 sc just to change the style!

I bought Perrie the long mane. I have always wanted a horse with this mane.
And I really like my outfit of the day! It's casual yet fancy, and the blue color is marvelous.

And then some photos with Brunte :)

Dammit Brunte stop changing sides.

Summerlove

Hello!

Yesterday, the double coins -offer was added. I got excited and of course ran to buy some star coins, cos I hadn't bought any since the last phone bill. First I bought 614sc and later 294sc.

On Wednesday, when the new horses arrived, I fell in love with the bay oldenburg. But now, when I got money for the dapple grey horse too, I just had to buy it! The black oldenburg is lovely too, but because I already have Haz, who has the same color but without the markings, I didn't want to buy it.

So welcome my new stallion, Summerlove :)

Cause you were mine for the summer
Now we know its nearly over
Feels like snow in September
But I will always remember
You were my Summer love
You always will be my Summer Love

I had to have the word summer in his name, because the heat has reached Finland and it already feels like summer in here :)

Summerlove, also called Lou, is an Oldenburg stallion. He has been in this world for 6 years. Lou is a really nice boy, and though I haven't trained him yet at all, he already knows a lot. Lou's behavior is really good. I think I'm gonna train him for show jumping. He is my future star, as well as Haz and Perrie are :)

Right after I have finished Haz's training, I'm gonna start with Lou. Perrie is such a fiend that I'm gonna need a lot more time for her. I guess her training starts in early June.

(Haha Lou and Haz, some people will get)

And I'm like "Yo no can do!"

Today I discovered the North Link Valley. (Is it the name of it? huh) Most people slide down the scarp next to North Link, but I couldn't do it because I'm such a loser, so I went to observatory, rode under the bridge to the slope and slid down. It wasn't so sharp so it was easier to slide down without getting the dangerous fall-warning.

idiot :(

I don't know I find it funny how Perrie is doing the stare of death in the back.
